Marner's streak was extended with an empty-net goal against the visiting San Jose Sharks with 1.11 left in the third period, the final goal in Toronto's 3-1 win. Marner matched the mark set by Darryl Sittler and Ed Olczyk. Sittler had 33 points from Jan. 26-March 8, 1978 while Olczyk had 28 points from Dec. 2, 1989-Jan. 8, 1990.
