Sidney Crosby opened the scoring of the 2017 Stadium Series game at Heinz Field when he beat Michal Neuvirth 11:18 into the opening period as the Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers, 4-2 on February 25, 2017.
The goal was Crosby's 34th of the 2016-17 season and 372nd of his illustrious NHL career. The Penguins would go on to win a second consecutive Stanley Cup Championship in 2017.
