These Reebok 11K Skates were worn by Sidney Crosby during the first nine games of the 2013-14 National Hockey League regular season from Oct. 3 - Oct 21.
Crosby opened the 2013-14 season on a torrid scoring pace with 17 points (7g, 10a) in his first eight games (Oct. 3 -19). During this period, Crosby recorded his 8th career hat-trick in a game against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Oct. 12 and added an assist for a 4-point night in a Penguins 5-4 victory. In addition, Crosby was named the National Hockey League's second star for the month of October 2013 and the week ending October 20th.
That season Crosby also had at least one point in 60 of his 80 games played and helped the Penguins to a 47-8-5 record (.825). He also won the Art Ross Trophy for the second time with 104 points (36g, 68a) and led the National Hockey League with 68 assists. Crosby factored into 43% of Pittsburgh's 242 goals - the highest percentage in the league.
These skates were worn by Sidney Crosby during games from October 3, 2013 vs. New Jersey through October 21, 2013 vs. Colorado - a total of nine games - and have been definitively photo-matched to multiple games during that span. The skates come with a Frameworth Sports Marketing hologram, Letter of Authenticity from Casey Samuelson of PenguinsChronicles.com, and are officially licensed by the NHL and NHLPA.
