Steven Stamkos is the 47th player to hit the 500 NHL career goals milestone, and the first player in Tampa Bay Lightning franchise history to do so. Stamkos achieved this feat in 965 NHL games - scoring his 500th goal against the Vancouver Canucks in a 5-2 win (he also recorded a hat-trick). Stamkos is the third active player in the NHL to have joined the 500-goal club alongside Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin.

Sidney Crosby - Feb. 15, 2022
Sidney Crosby is the 46th player to hit the 500 NHL career goals milestone, and only the second player in Pittsburgh Penguins history behind Mario Lemieux. Crosby achieved this feat in 1,077 NHL games - scoring his 500th goal against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Alex Ovechkin is the 43rd player to score 500 NHL goals and the 37th player in NHL history to reach 1,000 points with only one team. Ovechkin scored his 500th goal against the Ottawa Senators 16:19 into the second period and also scored his 501st goal in the third period to give Washington a 7-1 lead.

Teemu Selanne scored his 500th goal against the Colorado Avalanche in an Anaheim Ducks 3-2 shootout loss. Over the course of 1,451 career games, Selanne recorded 684 goals, 773 assists, and a plus-minus of +95.

Jaromir Jagr scored his 500th goal with a hat trick in a 5-1 Florida Panthers win against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Jagr played 24 seasons, for 9 teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins and NY Rangers. Over 1,733 career games, Jagr recorded 766 goals, 1155 assists, and a plus-minus of +322.
