Wayne Gretzky Signed Framed 16x20" Final Game at Maple Leaf Gardens Photo (Limited Edition 25/99)

On December 19, 1998 Wayne Gretzky skated in his final Maple Leaf Gardens game, when the Toronto Maple Leafs hosted the New York Rangers. In this game, Gretzky recorded two assists to add to his already All-Time NHL point lead. After 21 illustrious seasons in the NHL, Gretzky ended his career in 1999. He retired and currently still is the all-time leader in goals, assists and points. He finished with 2,857 points and still holds the record for the only player to reach the 2,000 plus point milestone. Even if Gretzky had never scored a goal, his 1,963 assists would still rank above all players in career points. Photo Features:

  • Signed in silver Sharpie by Wayne Gretzky
  • Includes original Wayne Gretzky Authentic COA
  • Limited Edition 25 of 99
  • From Frameworth's exclusive private memorabilia vault
  • Professionally framed and comes ready-to-hang
  • Approx. Finished Frame Size: 24x33"

wayne gretzky signed memorabilia

For just over 67 years, Maple Leaf Gardens was home to eleven Stanley Cup banners, eight times where the Cup was won on Gardens ice. It was the home where famous radio broadcaster Foster Hewitt had the idea to broadcast the game and the birth of Hockey Night in Canada sprung. Maple Leaf Gardens was also the place where Darryl Sittler had his iconic 10 point game, still being the only player ever to record 10 points in a single game. Players like Bower, Salming, Mahovlich, Keon and Kelly all took their final skate on Maple Leaf Gardens ice.

This is an exclusive item that has been uncovered from Frameworth's vault and comes complete with a FW Certificate of Authenticity and Hologram in addition to its original WGA Certificate of Authenticity. Min Bid: $500.
