Sidney Crosby (Frameworth Exclusive) used this stick on Feb. 14, 2020 as the Penguins played the Montreal Canadiens at PPG Paints Arena. Captain Crosby assisted newly-acquired Jason Zuckers' first two goals as a Pittsburgh Penguin, and Letangs' power play goal in the second period. It is not confirmed that Sidney Crosby used this exact stick for all three assists in the Pittsburgh Penguins 4-1 win over the Montreal Canadiens.

Back in 2005, the world watched in amazement as an impressive batch of Canadian stars dominated international ice, but it was 17-year-old Sidney Crosby (Frameworth Exclusive) who stole the World Juniors show. Canada iced its best-ever World Junior roster at the 2005 tournament, which took place in Grand Forks, North Dakota, in the midst of an NHL lockout. Since coming off a heart-breaking loss in the gold medal game in 2004, the team had a lot to prove, and prove they did. Canada outscored their opponents 41-7 during their six games, including a 6-1 pounding of Alexander Ovechkin and the Russians in the final en route to capturing the gold medal. In the six games Team Canada played, Sidney Crosby recorded 9 points (6G, 3A), leading his team in scoring alongside Patrice Bergeron (5 goals), Ryan Getzlaf (3 goals), and Jeff Carter (7 goals). Their win kicked off a streak of 5 straight World Juniors where Canada took home the top prize.

Crosby returned to the QMJHL's Rimouski Oceanic after the tournament and finished the 2004-05 season with 168 points in 62 games. He earned league MVP honors for the second straight campaign and helped the Oceanic reach the Memorial Cup final. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected him first overall at the NHL draft that June, and the rest is history.
