Aristide Bruant was a succesful singer, songwriter, and entreprneur who ran a cabaret in the Montmarte quarter of Paris. This reproduction print is based on an original marketing campaign in which Bruant comissioned artist Henri De Toulose-Lautrec to promote his rough street persona in a way to appeal to a bourgeois audience. This iconic image was commissioned in 1893 and helped launch both Bruant and Toulose-Lautrec's careers. This reproduction print is professionally framed and matted and comes ready to hang as the perfect decor item for any space.
